[Phnom Penh, 5 March 2024] Prince Foundation kicked off 2024 with its first workshop for Chen Zhi Scholars entitled “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Student Life,” where participants learned the effective use of AI while highlighting its importance and ethical application.
During the event, held on February 22, 2024, the Chen Zhi Scholarship students engaged in hands-on sessions that explored the myriad applications of AI, from data analysis to ethical problem-solving, reflecting Prince Foundation’s commitment to preparing the next generation for the challenges and opportunities of the digital age.
Feedback from the workshop was overwhelmingly positive, with 90% of the students affirming its relevance to their studies and future careers. They highlighted the practical skills acquired as well as a heightened awareness of the ethical dimensions of AI technology.
Mr. Chem Chanthol, the Executive Director of Prince Foundation, emphasized the transformative impact of AI on educational methodologies and student efficiency. “Artificial intelligence is not just a tool for innovation but a catalyst for reshaping our approach to education and learning,” Mr. Chem noted.
The workshop also fostered a collaborative learning environment, encouraging students to share insights and work together on AI-driven projects. This peer-to-peer interaction is a cornerstone of Prince Foundation’s educational philosophy, promoting a culture of innovation and collective problem-solving.

Chen Zhi Scholarship program is an annual scholarship program led by philanthropist Neak Oknha Chen Zhi, Chairman of Prince Holding Group, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), for benefitting 400 Cambodian university students over a seven-year period.
